Drew Fasano works with landowners, forestry consultants, TIMOs, contractors, and forest industry professionals to develop reforestation strategies that support long-term forest productivity and financial performance. His expertise in silviculture and forest genetics allows him to help customers select the right products and management approaches to achieve their objectives.
Before joining ArborGen, Drew spent five years as a forest analyst with F&W Forestry, specializing in growth and yield modeling, harvest scheduling, financial analysis, and resource studies. He later spent more than a decade with Resource Management Service, focusing on forest operations, silviculture, and harvesting throughout the Southeast.
Drew enjoys the unique perspective his role provides, working across a wide range of ownership types, management objectives, and forestry systems throughout the South. He believes this exposure helps him better serve customers by bringing practical experience and diverse solutions to every conversation.
He holds both a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resource Management and a Master of Forest Resources from Clemson University and is a SAF Certified Forester, Georgia Registered Forester, and South Carolina Registered Forester.
Outside of work, Drew is just as passionate about wildlife management as he is forestry. He actively manages his own property using prescribed fire, wildlife habitat improvements, and food plot programs. He proudly describes himself as a “fire bug” and looks forward to prescribed burning season every year.
Species selection, site conditions, management goals, and planting timelines all play a role in choosing the right seedlings. Our Reforestation Advisors work directly with customers to recommend solutions tailored to their land and objectives.
